DERI Galway looking for Ph.D students The SW (Semantic Web) Cluster of DERI Galway is seeking to fill a position for PhD Student. This position is mainly supported by European Commission FP6 project: inContext. (The objective of inContext is to develop a context-aware Collaboration Working platform, enabled by semantic web technologies) We offer: • a stimulating, dynamic, multi-cultural research environment • excellent ties to research groups worldwide • regular exchange tracks with Stanford and other universities • close collaboration with leading industrial partners • up-to-date infrastructure and resources We expect: • a strong background in computer science or related disciplines • research interests in Context Aware Computing, Logic, Ontology Languages, Semantic Web Services, or related Semantic Web topics, and • The willingness to combine formal scientific work with application-oriented research in projects.
