 Opportunity in Data Mining
2011 (enrollment in Jan or July 2011) PhD Scholarship is available at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia We are looking for excellent candidates to pursue PhD with the Faculty of
Engineering and IT at the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
Students will have great opportunities to collaborate with a big team and
work on Australian Research Council grants and industry projects with tier-
1 organizations, on emerging data mining topics such as in-depth behavior
pattern mining, significant dynamics and change analysis, hidden group/
community analysis, complex sequence analysis, etc. We are particularly
interested in students with strongresearch and/or development background in
statistics, data mining, machine learning, pattern recognition, artificial
intelligence, optimization or database. Good coding capability is preferred.
The student must have a master degree or is expected to secure the master
degree before the official enrollment at UTS. Full scholarships are
available for 3 years, plus additional conference fees; opportunities for
training and working with tier-1 organizations may apply. Please send me your full CV, three representative publications and a
